A wonderful 5th wedding anniversary in Harrison Hot Springs!

I am back from a trip away this long weekend to Harrison Hot Springs. It was a really wonderful and relaxing time. I wish I could share lots of naughty pictures but we didn't take too many of them. We headed out to Harrison Hot Springs on Friday morning which was our actual wedding anniversary. 5 years of being married! We went to the Fairy shop too and picked up a few things. We headed to the Harrison Hot Springs resort after we went swimming. There is a huge fireplace in the lobby that we relaxed at. We also walked around and talked about our honeymoon memories from when we stayed there 5 years ago. I wish we could have gotten a room there but it was fully booked when we tried to phone last week and make reservations. Oh well! A cheap motel was better than no motel and no trip. I was happy to have our cute little room with a lake view and lots of space. We got back to our room around 6 pm and Master sent me out to get sushi take-out from the restaurant just below us. The sushi place was full of people so I was happy to get take-out to take to our private room. We had brought an expensive bottle of wine also that we had been saving just for our anniversary. It's called Quatrain wine from Mission Hill Winery. It cost me $47 dollars and I bought it from the Wine Store at Metrotown. It's hard to find and very rare. With the tax it cost over $50 so I am going to cross something off my bucket list: $281 -Drink a $50 or more bottle of merlot There was a kitchen table and two chairs and had a perfect lake view from it. You can see the one picture of our dinner all set up. The sushi was some of the best I've had in a very long time. Yummy!! The wine went perfect with it. We enjoyed some chocolate from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for dessert. It was so romantic as the sun was setting and we enjoyed our anniversary dinner in the privacy of our own room.
