The Skywalker's family vacation 2009!

I am really excited right now! We have planned a family vacation and are planning to leave for it on Tuesday. We will be back sometime during the BC Long weekend. We made arrangements for our kitty and have had a lot of preparation work today to get ready for our trip. My mind is already on vacation though. I'm thinking about all the fun we are going to have and how good it will feel to get away from it all for a few days. We are planning to do some family camping with both of our kids. Leia isn't very fond of camping so she has agreed that this will be the last camping trip that she can go on if she wants. We wanted one more time to go camping with both of our kids. She's 14 now and it is harder to convince her to camp. I think she's perhaps a bit like me and spoiled with staying in motels. lol. I'm a bit of a princess that way. :) We are heading over to Vancouver Island and will be going on BC Ferries out to Nanaimo. We have several plans for family fun and parks/beaches that we plan to visit. We also booked a motel out near Tofino as well as camping for 2 nights! The campground is very close to one of the most famous beaches in Canada, Long Beach. I am extremely excited about going to Tofino. I've heard great things about the surf and beaches there and how beautiful it is. I've heard that the sunsets are comparable to Hawaii and that there is a lot of wildlife out that way including lots of whales. I spent some time today checking out the Whale watching tours out in Tofino. We have not had a family vacation in a few years. Last summer was not very good and we weren't able to get away. I am really excited that we are going on a family trip and that we'll be hiking and spending lots of time on the beach! I used to spend a lot of time on Vancouver Island when I was growing up. I would spend my summers there and have a lot of memories there. I can't wait to show my kids some of those places as well as exploring new areas of the Island. I am sure that I'll be able to cross a few things off my bucket list also! We will not be blogging for the next week because we will be gone on vacation. There is lots of erotic stories in our archives as well as almost 4 years worth of blog posts that you can read while we are away. I'm sure I'll have lots to write about when I am back from the trip. I am also sure that we'll have plenty of pictures to share also. Master Anakin has been very excited about all the photo opportunities that he is going to have to capture the beauty of Vancouver Island. My force feels strong.
