Skywalker's family vacation to Vancouver Island!

It's been a while since the Skywalker's have been away on vacation. Last year was a bit of a write-off. I had a miscarriage and a lot happened last summer. We never had the chance to go away. We decided to head to Vancouver Island. It's beautiful there and I was very excited to get going on the trip. I spent all of Monday getting ready. We had a hard time packing up all the stuff. Camping stuff takes up a lot of room and we have a small car. lol.

We went to Horseshoe Bay and onto a BC Ferry that was going to Nanaimo. The prices on food were expensive but we all treated ourselves to a breakfast which was really yummy. It was a beautiful ride over. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking at all the scenery. I love the ferry and it always calms my mind and soul. We got to Nanaimo and drove towards Parksville. We began our road trip on Vancouver Island. I got to cross something off my bucket list:

#511 -Go on another road trip with the family (Skywalkers)

We found a really nice campground in Parksville and saw a deer along the side of the road as we got there. So neat! There was tons of wildlife there and we saw many deer during our trip. Master set up the tent and we were both impressed with the campsite along the Englishman River there. It was fun to camp with the family again! I got to cross a few more things off my bucket list:

#623 -Visit Parksville, BC again

#455 -Go camping as a family again somewhere

#622 -Camp with the family on Vancouver Island

We also went to Parksville Beach for some beach time. It was beautiful there and a lot of fun! I hadn't been there since I was a teen. It was great to be back there with my kids this time. They really enjoyed it and we saw many tiny crabs all along the beach. Another one off the bucket list:

#526 -Go to the beach at Parksville, BC (haven't been there since I was a teen)

Camping was fun but it was a very hot night and was hard to sleep at times. The next morning I saw a bald eagle land on a tree near me. It sat there staring at me. Master was able to get a picture of it before it flew away. We got into the car and headed out to Coombes and the Old Country Market there. I have great memories at the old country market at Coombes as a kid. It was fun to take my kids there. There are goat on the roof and I'm putting up a picture today of one of those goats. A very cool place with neat shops and unique gifts and foods. We picked up a few neat things from there. Another one off my bucket list:

#614 - Visit Coombes, BC and the Old Country Market with the goats on the roof

We stopped by Cathedral Grove which had some really old trees. The kids were a bit bored with that but I thought it was pretty neat. We got to Ucluelet and were going to stay in a campground there but changed our mind. The surfer dude who was in the office made jokes about it being "bear country" and how we would probably encounter a bear at our spot. The kids didn't think much of that. lol. They both refused to camp on the site. The site was also very small and not very safe. We decided to splurge and try to find a motel.

We found a quaint little motel in Uclulet which was along the water. Another thing off my bucket list:

#305 -Stay in a condo or hotel again right along the ocean

We quickly discovered that Uclulet and Tofino do not have any fast food places. Their prices are quite high. Dinner that night was pricey for the 4 of us. The service at that pizza place also really sucked!! I was not impressed with the pizza and how much it cost us. We drove around Uclulet a bit and saw a lighthouse there. We discovered a beach there but it wasn't too great so we decided to head out to the Pacific Rim and the beautiful beaches near Tofino.

I was a bit surprised to find out that you have to pay to visit their beautiful beaches on the Pacific Rim. It's $19 a day. It seems a bit crazy that you have to pay to use a beach but it was worth it for the one night. We went the beautiful beach, Long Beach. Incredible waves crashing against the shore. Surfers out riding the huge waves. It was comparable to Hawaii and the Oregon Coast. Very, very beautiful.

The kids went into the waves and left us alone for a while. We got to have some romance while watching the sunset. We kissed and made out and held hands along the shore. It was spectacular and one of the most romantic moments of my entire life!! My heart felt true happiness and romance during that sunset and romance. I will always remember it.

#624 -See a sunset on Vancouver Island

We got a good sleep and woke up to a family of deer outside our window of the motel. It was so cute!! A little baby deer with it's family. SOooooo cute! We headed out to Tofino for breakfast. Tofino is a quaint little fishing place. It was a bit different than I expected but very nice with shopping and a really nice park that Skywalker liked. It was hard to find a reasonable place to eat for the family though. We wound up going to the local Co-Op to find pastries to eat. I picked up a few neat things in Tofino including a really beautiful candle holder. I've always wanted to see Tofino so I'm glad that I finally had the chance to visit.

#30 -Visit Tofino

We visited an art gallery there also which was really nice.

#361 -Go to an art gallery other than Vancouver

We headed to Victoria after a few hours in Tofino. We had plans to stay with family and spent a few days in Victoria. We went downtown to the harbour on Friday. I love it there! You can see the parliament buildings and many of the local artists and the BEST fish n chips also! Yum! We saw a seal there poking it's head out of the water as we ate fish n chips. We took a harbour cruise along Victoria harbour side. We also saw Darth Vader there!! Imagine that!

I am putting up a picture of him today. We've seen Darth Vader before in Victoria during another trip we took. He plays the violin and is dressed in full costume. He must be a true Star Wars fan!

We went to the Wax museum there also. It's always interesting to visit the Chamber of Horrors at the wax museum. My brother-in-law took our kids for a while so we could have some alone time so we visited the wax museum together. That was a lot of fun! He also bought me a frozen lemonade which was true heaven!! It was a hot day and that felt so refreshing and good. We had a family bbq that night and some time on a porch swing that was outside and you can watch the sun setting. It was really relaxing.

We had breakfast at Smitty's. They have awesome pancakes there! Then we did some shopping at Sidney by the Sea. They have many neat bookstores there and our kids picked up a few things. Then we headed to the BC ferries and home sweet home! It's been hard to get back to reality after such a fun family trip. I spent most of yesterday napping and doing laundry. Master and I did manage to have a hard quick fuck last night. I had a huge orgasm and was put to bed early. We are hoping to have more playtime this weekend! It's airshow weekend and we are going to have some kid free time! Hopefully I'll get some play with Darth Vader. I need a spanking!

May the force be with you all!!

My padme,
You did a great job summarizing many of the highlights of our family summer vacation. We did and saw so much; it was a wonderful trip and filled with great memories and images. I'm looking forward to some alone time with you soon too, so we can spend some time together on the darkside.
