 I am very excited about this week. New Year's eve is coming up! It's one of my most favorite days of the year. A fresh start and new beginning of a new year. 2010 is a very exciting year for the people who live in Vancouver, B.C. We are hosting the Vancouver 2010 Olympics!! It seems like we've been talking about it forever but now it's really going to be happening! Very neat!
I am putting up a picture today of some new sexy socks that I got in my stocking. They are pretty neat! Santa got these from Spencer Gifts. I think they will go very well with my schoolgirl outfit. Aren't they sexy? :)
We got a bit of a surprise today. We have no kids for New Year's eve. Leia is going to her Dad's families place from tomorrow until Jan. 4th. Skywalker is going to be sat on New Year's eve and also day! Woot! We discussed our plans and it is starting to look like we'll be going on a date to see a movie and also out for dinner somewhere nice. We want to see Avatar and that looks really good to see. I got a very expensive bottle of ice wine also for Christmas. This was one of my presents. I have not had it in a very long time and am excited to give it a try. I'm not on my antibiotics anymore so I can finally have a few drinks during the holidays! Woot!
I'm sure that there will be some spanking fun and play time happening during our NYE celebration. I am usually over Master's knee as the ball drops and it's time for a new year. I love to welcome it by getting a spanking! Always a fun time and a great start to the year. :)

Those stockings are so sexy! We are celebrating Mexican style - we decided to start a tradition to try a different country every new year; cook the food and have a few drinks. i am oh so jealous that you start the year off OTK w/ your Master! :) That sounds awesome!
OMG... do those socks have skulls on them? I need a pair for a friend of mine. She absolutely loves anything with skulls!
We don't have any plans for NYE yet, but I love the idea of a spanking. I'll have to suggest that to Asha. And I love viemoira's suggestion about the different country each year. I can learn to make some Japanese food and buy Master a bottle of the sake he loves. I think that would be a GREAT way to start the new year! :-D
In fact, I just might suggest that to him. My grandmother sent us some money for Christmas and I wasn't sure what to do with it. Now I know!

Hopefully this year there will be just the two us.
Candles burning, bottle of wine,red, movie and over P's lap at the stroke of midnight, might be boring for some but that's what I'm hoping for :)
I do like viemoira's idea but we do cook a lot of meals from around the world during the year.
