A day at Granville island public market

I've had a really great day and a wonderful weekend so far. I got a really good sleep and woke up to a free day with no plans made. We talked it over and decided to head somewhere a bit different and neat. We have not been to the Granville island public market in a long time. I had put it down on my bucket list because I wanted to make sure to spend a whole day down there sometime. It was a bit cloudy today but at least it didn't rain. We drove down to Vancouver and the public market which is one of my favorite places to visit. We had Skywalker with us today and he really enjoyed the kids market there. There is ducks outside in a little pond which included a few baby ducks which were very cute! We went shopping at the public market also which included fresh fruits and veggies and some goodies too! There was some really neat chocolates there and I am putting up a picture of them. The bakery was awesome and so was all the neat shops there. We had lunch outside and Skywalker enjoyed the birds all over looking for crumbs. The fish n chips was yummy and the lunch was very relaxing and enjoyable. We took some pictures and walked around and then eventually went into a few art stores down there. I enjoyed some retail therapy in many stores around the public market. I picked some beers at the Granville Island brewery for Master. I picked up some nice wine at the Liberty Wines there. We got a few neat things at the kids market too for our son. He enjoyed us spoiling him a little and spending some nice quality time with him. Skywalker enjoyed some park time and we walked all over the public market and spent most of the day there. We enjoyed some sushi near a scenic bridge near False Creek. Their california rolls are delicious! I felt relaxed and very peaceful there. There was some really nice moments today on our outing. I had such a wonderful day! We also went down to Vanier Park and Kits beach area and enjoyed some time there too after leaving the public market. It's beautiful there with nice views of Vancouver. A really nice day and came home with many treasures today. I am enjoying a really nice glass of Shiraz from South Africa and a piece of homemade banana bread from the bakery. :) Revenge of the Sith is on Shaw tv right now and I'm going to cuddle up with my Jedi and enjoy watching it again. I wonder how many times I've seen it. It's my favorite of all the Star wars movies. I can cross something off my bucket list too! #550 -Spend the day at Granville island public market again I am looking forward to a relaxing night with Master and hopefully getting our son to bed early tonight so we can have some play time!
