 I have felt like a baking Goddess lately. I have spent a lot of hours in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and trying to bake and cook some new things for the family! It's been a lot of fun and the family has really enjoyed my cooking. I've made some different types of stews and soups in the slow cooker.
I really love my slow cooker! I use it all the time. I cook up healthy vegetables and let it simmer for 6 hours. It makes the place smell great and everyone is happy with the dinner. It's really nice when I don't have a lot of time or energy to cook dinner. I just cook it in advance and then it's done when we are ready to eat.
I made some mincemeat tarts recently which turned out great. Yesterday I made some chocolate (Devil's food) cupcakes frosted with homemade icing and decorated with gingerbread men and candy. They didn't last long!! They were all gone by the time The Walking Dead had ended. lol! :D
My weekend was a productive one and a pretty relaxing one. Friday night was spent with Anakin. We had some really great sex which was unexpected. I was about to go to bed but he was suddenly horny and jumped me. We didn't get to play and tried to on Saturday. We only had a few hours of sitting so we tried to cram a lot into it.
Unfortunately things ran late and then we got a whole bunch of interruptions!! The phone rang several times including a very stressful call from my ex husband. That killed a lot of the fun mood. We tried to get back into things but then the doorbell rang. I've never seen Master so frustrated!!
Our FIL had dropped off our son an hour early. So a lot of the play came to a sudden end and we promised to get back to it but never did. This is the realities of having kids sometimes. *sighs* Not sure what the chances are of any play happening this week. My period is expected and there is a full week of errands and chores and a bleak outlook of having any time alone. I miss Anakin a lot today and don't feel like myself. Hopefully we'll get another chance to play on the darkside again really soon!

Yes, reality interferes sometimes with a hunger and need for play, for O/our time. Reality really sucked this weekend; in my heart I was going to tan your hide for hours; the reality was...different. I'm glad for the time we did have, and always will be.
