 I woke up this morning to a quickie with Anakin and then got some big Royal news. There was a lot of talk about it happening but it finally became official! Prince William is engaged! Yah! There is going to be a royal wedding next year with him and Kate Middleton. I have always been a big fan of the royal family. I can remember being up in the middle of the night to watch the Chuck and Di wedding in 1981!! It was a really huge deal at the time.
I've watched all the royal events through the years. I got up again in the middle of the night to watch Lady Diana's funeral and cried many tears about losing her. I know that Diana would have been so proud that her oldest son is now engaged to be married. I can remember the day that William was born and her holding him in her arms. She was always very proud of her boys.
They say that William will be King one day. There is a big open future of possibilities for the royal family now with a big wedding coming next year. Congratulations to Prince William and Kate! I can't wait to watch their wedding and see what unfolds in their future. Hopefully it turns out a lot better than Chuck and Di did.

Congrats to them! I remember staying up so late for Diana's and Charles's wedding which was an amazing bit of history. I love watching the Royal Family, the prestige and and can't wait to see this event next year. I sure hope he becomes King soon; imagine seeing that ceremony too! Very cool to see this come to pass; can't wait.
