 There has been lots of November rain already. This weekend has been a very dark and wet one. I haven't felt like leaving the house although we do have some things planned for today that will require it. I am trying very hard to get through this month. November is always a long and dark one for me. It was Daylight Savings time so I had extra time to sleep at least. I've been feeling really tired all the time. It seems like I can never get enough sleep.
I've tried to be productive the last few days. I have been cooking and baking up a storm. I made homemade bread in the maker one day and also a homemade beef stew in the slow cooker. I've also been working on some projects to help me keep busy. We dug our Christmas stuff out of the storage yesterday. We plan to put up our outside lights soon.
I also plan to start my Christmas shopping this week. It seems a bit crazy to be thinking about the holidays already but it's coming up very quickly. We are planning a big family celebration this year so I want to be organized and ready. It also helps me to keep busy.
Anakin did not win the dream destination contest. It was nice to dream about though. We did talk about wanting to go on a vacation maybe next year though to Hawaii. We never got a proper honeymoon and the kids are a bit older now. I think it might be really nice to get away from it all after the holidays. I've been to Hawaii twice and love it!!
I promised myself that I would go back one day. I'd love to be able to go with Master. It's something to look forward to. 2010 has not been that great of a year. I'm really hoping that next year will be much better. I am hoping to get back to regular blogging again. We did get an HNT picture up this week at least. There are a few blog posts that I have been planning to write. Hopefully I'll get more time this month while it's rainy and dark and I am wanting to write.
I am looking forward to playing with Darth Vader again. It's been a while and I'd like a taste of the darkside. :D
