A spring day at the Lonsdale Quay

I was feeling restless yesterday on the last day of spring break with the kids. I was able to organize the afternoon and sitting so I could go out and enjoy a break. I was able to get a ride to the skytrain so I could head downtown. This is always a really big treat for me. To be able to go into the big city. I was able to arrange to meet Anakin after he was off work. He drove to the Lonsdale Quay so we could have dinner together. We ate fish n chips (which are amazing from there!) and went outside to get some ocean air. There is a fabulous view of Downtown Vancouver from there. I'm putting up a few pictures of it. It's really beautiful and the Quay is always a really nice place to visit. I picked up some fresh fruit at the marketplace as well as some nice Pinot Noir wine at the Wine Shop. It was a really nice date with Anakin and a nice start to the weekend. May the force be with you all!! ~padme amidala
