A date downtown with Anakin

Thank you everyone for all the anniversary wishes! I had a really fun anniversary weekend with Anakin. We've celebrated our anniversary in a few different ways. We went and saw Meat Loaf in concert and had a special night. We also had a romantic dinner last weekend. And then celebrated it again on Saturday with a date and play time later that night. I was also very lucky to have Anakin at home for a 4 day long weekend. We had sex every single day! And played lots too. A wonderful connection and a great way to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary.

I'm putting up a few pictures of downtown Vancouver. We took these while out on our date. We were able to get some sitting time and headed downtown on the skytrain. We walked down Robson Street and enjoyed the scenery and shops. The cherry blossom trees were beautiful. They make it look like there is pink snow falling from the sky. We got to enjoy dinner at the Bread Garden. We had been there once before and enjoy their food. We decided to go to Canada Place and walk around.

We were able to see the Olympic Cauldron there with the flame still going. It's really amazing to see! I could feel the Olympic Spirit still going from the Winter Olympics which were held here last year. This was on my bucket list as well as Anakin's. We had both wanted to see it.

#645 -Visit the Olympic Cauldron in Vancouver where the flame is

We walked around Canada place which was also really nice. We hadn't walked to the front of Canada place in about ten years. That was really nice. Great scenery and fresh ocean air. A wonderful spring day in downtown Vancouver. I love going there with Anakin.

We headed back to cherry pie and Pinot Noir wine to celebrate. A perfect way to end a romantic date. There was some play time on the darkside which followed but I will blog about that in another post. *grins* :D

May the force be with you all!!

My padme,
I completely enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary in all the ways we did. Our date in beautiful downtown Vancouver was perfect; being able to take photos was a bonus. I felt the Olympic spirit at the cauldron downtown too.

A final happy anniversary for this year, wife. I love you, forever and ever.
