 I wanted to wish all the Dad's out there a very happy Father's day! I want to give an extra special message to Anakin! He's a really wonderful Dad to our two kids. He's a good stepdad to our teen and has been a part of her life since she was born. He's also a really great Dad to our son who is like a mini-me version of Anakin. Our son is a little Dom in training and likes to be the boss just like his Dad. :) He's a really great Daddy to me too! I'm proud of him for all that he does for our family.
Father's day is a bit of a sad day for me. It reminds me of my own Dad and how he isn't here to spend Father's day with. He passed away in 2009. Anakin will be spending some of it with his Dad and that's very special because of what's going on with him. He's been diagnosed with Cancer and starts chemo on Tuesday. I love my FIL a lot and am sad about the news. He's a father figure to me since my own Dad isn't here. I love him very much.

I think you said all there is to say about Father's Day in our house. I'm so sorry your Dad's not here to share it with you; I'm sad about my Dad's health this Father's day, he's been there for us in many ways since we've been together and was there for me from the day I was born until today; anything I know about being a good Dad came from him. And I love my kids more than life itself, and I try to show them, by being there for them, always. Happy Dad's Day, to everyone, whatever your situation with your Dad is.
