A weekend of work and play!

I was lucky that Anakin had a 3 day long weekend. And there is another one coming up soon with Canada day! I really enjoy it when we get to spend a whole day together. Friday was a pretty nice day. Went out shopping for the teen's birthday gift. She is turning sweet sixteen and we are hosting a really big bbq party this weekend for it. Unfortunately we didn't find anything even though we had searched through our whole mall. Hard to find special presents for 16 years old. You'd think it would be easier because it's such a big birthday. Our son had his sports day and we had lunch and watched it for a while. We came home and found out that we had a surprise overnight. The teen was going to her Dad's house and our son went to my FIL's. We had the whole night to ourselves. We were pretty happy when UPS dropped off my package of toys right before our overnight!! Talk about good timing. I couldn't wait to try out my new glass dildo from Eden Fantasys! It's a beauty. I will be reviewing that toy sometime this week. I absolutely LOVE it! Anakin took me out for a sushi dinner on our overnight. We dressed up and got to enjoy some really delicious sushi. I love the box dinners with different samples of Japanese food. Very yum! Am putting up a picture of what my dinner looked like. :) I love sushi! Thanks Anakin! We came home and brought out the toys including my glass dildo. I got my ass beat pretty hard!! He used a few different toys to spank my ass hard! We had some really good sex and orgasms and then shared a dessert before bed. A really great night on the darkside. I wanted to go shopping on Saturday to continue the search for a special birthday gift for the teen. Anakin suggested I head out to Metrotown Mall on my own. It's a really big mall and lots of different stores there that you can't find locally. He gave me my orders before I left. I had to keep in touch with him through the day and consult with him about the present. I had to keep my cell phone on me and answer it when he phoned to check up on me. I also had a deadline. I had until 6 pm to go where I wanted but had to be back by then. I was also put on a budget and told to buy myself some Lush as a treat. I was really excited to head out on my alone day. I had lunch at Metrotown and then did some shopping before deciding to head downtown. I wanted to see the damage from the riot. I heard that the Bay was hosting a free pancake breakfast and also free hugs. I got off Burrard Street skytrain station and people were there waiting to give me (and all the other people) free hugs!! I headed down to the Bay and looked around Granville Street and towards the library. It was strange to be down there after being there at the beginning of the riot. The streets had been cleaned up but there was still evidence of damage that had been done. Windows had been boarded up and people had left their messages of support. Really neat to see people all come together after a really big tragedy. This is my Vancouver!! I decided to head to the Lonsdale Quay because I still had a few hours of my day of freedom. I love to shop there and it always clears my head to be around the ocean air and scenery. It was a cloudy day but at least the rain had stopped. It was beautiful and I walked all around the park there. I also did some shopping and found the teen something for her birthday there. I also got some goodies at the bakery. It was so peaceful and really helped me to be out there on my own for a while. Thank you Anakin for giving me a day to myself! :) I came home on the skytrain and met Anakin. We picked up some dinner and then came home to watch some of the Star Wars marathon which was on all through the weekend for Father's day! There's nothing better than spike tv showing star wars marathons. We love it! We had considered going to Rascal's on Saturday night but I was exhausted from my day out and we had no sitting. Hopefully we'll be able to go to Rascal's again sometime soon. It's been a while and I miss some of my kinkster friends. We got to have a few drinks and play again. The sex and orgasms were really wonderful and so was cuddling up to Anakin and falling asleep next to him. He said to me that he had watched me sleep for a while. I love it when he does that. Sometimes I almost sense him there and he will be in my dreams. Yesterday was Father's day and I tried to keep busy to keep my mind off things. The day reminds me a lot of my Dad and I didn't want to spend the whole day depressed. So we did some errands and then got to work on chores for the afternoon. It felt good to start getting ready for the birthday coming up this weekend. I like to be organized when it comes to hosting events. I made a really nice dinner for Anakin and the family. Roast beef which was simmering in the slow cooker all day. It was loaded full of fresh veggies with it. I also made homemade chocolate chip cookies which is one of Anakin's favorite. He was very pleased. I wanted to make Father's day special for him. He got to enjoy some time with his Dad as well as the kids yesterday. It was really nice. So how was your weekend?
