 Happy July 4th to our readers who are celebrating it today! Today is a pretty regular day for us Canadians. Anakin is back at work after a 4 day long weekend. It's just a normal boring day for us today. I have celebrated a July 4th before though and it's very special and amazing to see. I was in Las Vegas 11 years ago today with my sister. We went on a trip together because we were both at a crossroads in our lives. That trip would change our lives forever.
I can remember seeing the fireworks over the strip. Wow!! It was absolutely incredible. I decided to stay up all night watching them. I watched the Vegas sunrise and thought about Anakin. I had no idea that I was pregnant at that moment. I had conceived our son the night before I left. Anakin says that he knew something special was going on when he dropped me off at the airport. Skywalker completed our family. I can't imagine our lives without him.
I have been thinking about Anakin since I got up this morning. Thinking about that July 4th and how our relationship changed and evolved from that trip to Vegas. We've sure come a long way since then. We are now married and are raising two kids together. This November we will have been together 15 years! And we've been best friends for 21 years this fall. It honestly feels like forever to me though. I don't remember my life without Anakin in it. All my memories are of him. I am more in love with him than ever!! We've worked really hard to get to where we are today. I love our family. I love our life. And I love him. I'm so in love you with you Anakin!
