Happy Canadian Spanksgiving!

Today is our Canadian Thanksgiving! It is a long weekend for us and a time to celebrate with family and friends. I plan to cook a turkey and have a family dinner with Anakin and the kids as well as my FIL. I am thankful to be able to get all of us together and enjoy some family time. I hope that all those peeps who are celebrating Thanksgiving have a really wonderful holiday. We are thankful for our readers and friends and wish you all the best! My Thanksgiving long weekend has been up and down. Friday night was amazing and wonderful. Had a date night with Anakin. Spent hours playing on the darkside. Really needed it. But woke up on Saturday morning with a very big tummy ache. The pain seemed to get worse and then finally puked my guts out. I don't think it was because of alcohol though. I had a little red wine on Friday night but not enough to get that sick. It was horrible. Anakin was very gentle and took really good care of me. I spiked a fever and had the shakes so badly. I had wondered about a hospital visit at one point because I was starting to get chest pain and that's never a good sign. I got very sick and then spent the next few hours sleeping. It was 11 am when I got up. I spent most of the day watching movies with my Daddy taking care of me. I feel really bad when I can't do my daily chores. But he took over and really helped me out a lot. We spent the whole day watching movies. We watched The Crush. Hadn't seen that movie in years. Had even forgotten parts of it. We watched some of the Alien movies through the day on AMC. They had a marathon going. We also watched Contagion. This movie was pretty scary in many ways. Makes you think a lot. Anakin and I wound up into a big discussion about it last night. This is probably not the best movie to watch when you have the flu though. lol. It left me a bit panicky and not feeling too great. I was put to bed early. I slept 12 1/2 hours solid last night. Wow!! That's a lot of sleep for me. I had very strange dreams. Today is turkey day. I'm cooking a very big bird with all of the trimmings. At least I'm feeling a bit better. Although I woke up to my period. If it's not one thing, it's another. *sighs* At least it will be over with by my birthday on Friday. Only 5 days til my birthday. Sometimes we combine my birthday with Thanksgiving but not this time. I'll be celebrating it on Friday. Anakin even has the day off for it. I am so very thankful for Anakin. I don't know what I'd do without him. He is a great man who I admire and respect so much.
