Merry Christmas: Day 24 and 25

Today is day 24 and 25 of having an #AdventBlog. I will be taking the day off from blogging tomorrow to spend with Anakin and our family. I am not feeling too good today. I started my period which put a dent into my spanking plans with Anakin. I admit that I'm disappointed. I think I set my expectations a bit high on things. I forgot that mother nature had her own Christmas gift to give to me. I honestly don't think there is anything worse than being on your period at Christmas. I'm tired, bitchy and irritable this morning. I'm also having lots of cramps. Not fun! :/ There was some family drama which happened last night. My step dad showed up pounding on our door. I guess my mom didn't like the news that we weren't going to see her this Christmas. This is the second time he's come to my house. It was very scary for us. We didn't answer the door because he's pretty scary. I really don't like where this is headed. It's a bad start to the holidays though. Both of my kids are also sick with a cold. I had it a few weeks ago and now they do too. I hope Anakin doesn't get sick. I'm going to push ahead today and try to be in the holiday spirit. I want to make sure to give my kids a good Christmas. We are already tracking Santa on Norad which is a fun part of Christmas. I'm glad the liquor cabinet is well stocked for the holidays. I plan on having a few tonight. Maybe it will help me relax. I'd like to thank Mija for the great idea of having an advent blog! It inspired a lot more blog posts than I usually do in December. Thanks Mija! I hope everyone has been enjoying the daily posts. I'm going to try to make more of an effort in the New year to blog more. :) Anakin and I want to wish our readers a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thank you for being a part of O/our Journey...
