TGIF! This week has been very stressful and upsetting. I was in a car accident with my family. Anakin has been badly injured with his foot and also shoulder/neck/back pain. He tried to go back to work but had a very hard time so He had to come home. It's been hard to see Master suffering. The kids seem ok although still very shaken up from the accident. It's going to take some time to get over what's happened.
We are still trying to sort out the legal issues and also trying to find a new car. Our car was written off and we are waiting for ICBC to give us a check for it. Hopefully they will be fair. It's a pretty big worry though. We owe thousands of dollars on a car which doesn't work. We have a rental car but it has to go back soon. So there is a lot of pressure right now. Anakin has been really stressed out. I wish there was something more I could do for Him.
Tonight is our date night but I'm not sure how that is going to work. He's been in pain and isn't able to spank or play. We weren't able to have sex the other day. I know there is other ways to connect but I really miss Him. I miss the intimacy right now. We were so close when we were on the way to the ferry on Sunday. We had just had a wonderful overnight and spent lots of time fucking and spanking and having a lot of orgasms.
The accident has changed everything. This has been a life changing event for the whole family. It's been hard to process all my emotions from it. I had insomnia last night and kept trying to understand what's happened.
The new year was going very well up until the accident. I can't wait until things can go back to normal again. It's so hard to move forward though with what's going on right now. Our force has not felt very strong. I really hope we can reconnect again and try to move past what's happened.
May the force be with you all!!

Don't settle anything until all your injuries are resolved.

It has been a painful experience in many ways. I can't wait for the pain to stop, for us to feel something close to normal life again; don't know when that will be but will be looking forward to it every moment. Until then, I'm here for you, in sickness and in health.

Padme,
Don't rush yourself - you will all heal in time, physically and emotionally. I'm sorry this happened but it will not ruin your year. I'll mess up a few weeks but you will all be fine soon I hope and back to playing and loving soon.
Hugs,
PK
I really hope your family heals as quickly as possible. I only just caught up with your blogs for this week so only just saw about the accident. I know you said in an earlier post that you were seeing the doctor (so I assume you all did then), do make sure that you guys go back if needed to get more medical care. Is there any way for Anakin to take some paid leave from work due to his injuries? Because it sounds like what he really needs is some major rest.
Sending good thoughts your way! I was in a similar (although far less severe in terms of car damage - just had me and another person with a weird medical condition in the car so had a lot of people-damage) accident a little over a year ago and I know how freaky they can be. I'm still feeling quite lucky that the person who hit my car was going as slowly as they were. If they'd been going as fast as the person who hit yours, I think they might have killed one of us (and we were all wearing seatbelts).
I do agree that as far as the settlement goes on the medical side don't settle until you all are as healed as possible and know how much it will actually cost. Also, I don't know if it works this way when you're all in the same family, but I know after my accident I was able to settle separately from my passenger. So I settled for the initial offer (which more than covered the care I was seeking at that point along with pain & suffering), but my passenger was able to continue to work to get all of her bills and pain and suffering covered at a much higher amount. Since I assume it's the US insurance company doing the medical side of the settlement, my guess is that it should work similarly (I'm in the US). Depending on how the medical bills and health go, it may be worth consulting a lawyer if you feel the insurance company is trying to short-change you.
Thank you all so much for your comments about the car accident. We really appreciate it.
Hugs,
padme
